Wiikwemkoong, July 4, 2025 – – On Friday, July 4, 2025 Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service (WTPS), with the assistance of the Greater Sudbury Police Service,  arrested Miish-Kii M’koos Corbiere in Sudbury, Ontario. 25-year-old Corbiere was wanted for several charges that posed significant risks to the community.

Charges filed against Miish-Kii M’koos Corbiere include:

  • Failure to Comply with Release Order x 4
  • Dangerous Operation
  • Failure to Stop After Accident
  • Flight from Peace Officer
  • Assault Causing Bodily Harm
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Forcible Confinement
