Two New Constables Join WTPS Following Graduation from Provincial Police Academy

WIIKWEMKOONG – May 21, 2025 – The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service (WTPS) is pleased to welcome two new constables to its ranks following their graduation from the Provincial Police Academy on May 15, 2025. Constables Brynn Kiley and Katelyn Morgan received their warrant cards and badges from Chief of Police Ron Gignac during a special ceremony held at Rama First Nation.
“Constables Kiley and Morgan are exceptional individuals who have already shown tremendous dedication, leadership, and integrity,” said Chief of Police Ron Gignac, WTPS. “We are excited to welcome them to our service and confident they will serve our communities with honour and professionalism.”
Constable Brynn Kiley, from M’Chigeeng, Ontario, holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and brings a strong background in community engagement and environmental stewardship. Prior to joining WTPS, she worked with Manitoulin Streams and volunteered extensively with Wikwemikong youth.
“I am deeply honoured and excited to join the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service and to serve the people of this community,” said Constable Kiley. “As someone who believes in the power of education and environmental stewardship, I look forward to building meaningful relationships and continuing to give back.”
Constable Katelyn Morgan hails from Red Lake, Ontario. A former small business owner and Registered Massage Therapist, she has been highly active in her community, volunteering with the Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary, coaching youth sports, and achieving distinction in her police training. She was awarded the Eric Nystedt Memorial Fitness Award at the Ontario Police College for exemplary fitness and mentorship.
“I am excited to begin this new chapter with WTPS and to support the safety and well-being of the communities we serve,” said Constable Morgan. “Community policing is something I’m passionate about, and I look forward to getting to know the people and making a positive impact.”
Both officers achieved high standing during their time at the Ontario Police College and the Provincial Police Academy, earning recognition from instructors, staff, and leadership for their outstanding efforts, strong work ethic, and volunteerism.
The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service congratulates Constables Kiley and Morgan on their graduation and welcomes them to the force.
