Legal Reminders

•  All drivers aged 21 and younger must always have a blood alcohol concentration of zero while driving on or off-road.
•  No passengers under the age of 8 are permitted when not on private property..
•  No passengers are allowed on off-road motorcycles.
•  ATVs must drive in the same direction as traffic and travel on the shoulder of the road unless it is unsafe to do so.

Legal Requirements

•  ATV operators must have their machine registered, plated and insured under a motor vehicle insurance policy.
•  People driving under the age of 12 must be under close supervision by an adult.
•  Drivers of off-road vehicles must hold a valid class license when not on private property..
•  Max 20 km/h where the road limit is 50 km/h or lower.
•  Max 50 km/h where the road limit is over 50 km/h.
